Patient Access Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain and verify patient demographic and financial information, ensuring accurate and timely registration of patients for clinical services.
- Collaborate with scheduling departments to identify add-on patients and ensure seamless registration processes.
- Verify insurance coverage and confirm eligibility, notifying patients and referring physicians as necessary.
- Collect and process payments, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Patient Access Representative.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
