State - California - $25.09 per hour

AVAILABLE SHIFTS AND HOURS

This is a Part-Time position with Benefits - 4 shifts per week.

Shifts are Wednesday - Saturday, PM shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Oversee shift change activities to allocate staff, assess unit staffing, and make adjustments as needed.

• Facilitate and supervise patient care and programming.

• Review medical documentation for timely updates as required.

• Manage individual admission and discharge processes, along with patient transfers.

• Ensure completion and timeliness of necessary paperwork.

• Lead person-centered planning processes with individuals to evaluate and develop plans tailored to their needs.

• Train and mentor direct care staff during shifts as needed or as assigned by the Milieu Manager.

• Audit individual records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Report any issues to the supervisor as necessary.

• Address concerns from individuals, families, and guardians in a timely manner.

• Communicate pertinent information promptly.

• Perform direct care responsibilities as required.

• Exhibit a positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor towards clients at all times. When patient needs are unmet, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints, recognizing that patient safety is paramount.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• Carry out additional functions and tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent with four or more years of experience in a behavioral health setting required; OR

• Associate's Degree in a human services field with two or more years of experience in a behavioral health environment required.

• Two or more years of experience with the facility's population preferred.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and provided by the facility).

• First aid certification may be required based on state or facility regulations.
