State- California - $25.09 per hour

AVAILABLE SHIFTS AND HOURS
This is a Part-Time position with Benefits - 4 shifts. Shifts are Wednesday - Saturday PM shift 3:30pm - 12:00am.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversee shift change activities to allocate staff, assess staffing for the units, and make adjustments as necessary.

Facilitate and oversee patient care and programming.

Review medical documentation for timely record-keeping as required.

Guide the individual admission and discharge processes, as well as patient transfers.

Review and monitor necessary paperwork for completion and timeliness.

Facilitate a person-centered planning process with individuals to evaluate and develop plans based on their needs.

Train and mentor direct care staff during the shift as needed, or as assigned by the Milieu Manager.

Audit individual records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Report issues to supervisor as necessary regarding compliance.

Address concerns from individuals, families, and guardians.

Communicate pertinent information in a timely manner.

Perform direct care duties as required.

Exhibit a positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor towards clients at all times. When patient needs are unmet, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Perform additional functions and tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent with four or more years' experience in a behavioral health setting required; OR

Associates Degree in a human service field with two or more years' experience in a behavioral health environment required.

Two or more years' experience with the population of the facility preferred.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).

First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
