Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Security Program Officer (CPSO) to oversee security operations for a Navy program. This role is essential in ensuring the protection of classified information and maintaining compliance with security regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will:

  • Act as the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) for a Navy initiative.
  • Manage personnel security, physical security, and information security processes.
  • Implement security protocols in line with NISPOM, DoD Vol 1-4 SAP Security Manual, ICDs, and other relevant regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Oversee document control systems and conduct annual inventories.
  • Administer a visitor control program, including processing visit certifications and escorting visitors.
  • Maintain a personnel security program, ensuring the initiation and upkeep of security clearances.
  • Collaborate with government clients and facility management for security-related matters.
  • Manage an information security program, ensuring proper handling and training regarding classified information.
  • Support security compliance inspections with occasional travel.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • Experience with Special Access Programs (SAP).
  • SPED Certification - SPSC / SFPC is preferred.
  • A four-year degree is preferred, along with 3-6 years of security administration experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication abilities.

Education:
A college degree or military experience is preferred but not mandatory. A combination of education, training, certification, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Security Clearance:
Must hold a DOD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel may be necessary to assist with facility inspections and accreditation processes.
