Position Overview:

As a Naval Program Analyst, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the Navy client office's acquisition and systems engineering initiatives. Your focus will be on evaluating and interpreting technologies relevant to Mine Warfare, aiming to enhance existing tactics and methodologies while managing a diverse portfolio of programs at various developmental stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough system requirement analyses and guide stakeholders in the development of design configurations, ensuring system integrity.
  • Support program managers by providing an external perspective on operations and coordinating stakeholder review events, as well as other developmental and testing activities.
  • Communicate program office objectives and goals effectively to stakeholders and decision-makers through various formats, including written reports and verbal presentations.
  • Collaborate with Navy clients to support operational effectiveness and contribute to the enhancement of acquisition programs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Department of Defense Acquisition Program Office.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional teams for at least 2 years.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools.
  • Understanding of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Active Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with rapid acquisition processes.
  • Military service background, particularly within a DoD Acquisition Program Office.
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications such as DAWIA Level I or II in Contracts or Program Management.
  • Completion of DAU coursework in project management and acquisition.
