About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day construction operations for our multifamily and commercial projects. The successful candidate will ensure all work is compliant with safety standards and maintain the highest quality of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all on-site operations related to commercial and multifamily construction, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of construction crews, subcontractors, and skilled laborers, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of blueprints, project documentation, and building codes related to multi-family residential construction and renovation.
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to project schedules.
  • Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions and communicate effectively with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Document and report on project status, issues, and resolutions to the Project Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Address on-site challenges promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Establish and promote a culture of safety on site, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to by all personnel.
  • Organize and manage materials and equipment needed for projects, ensuring efficient and timely use.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a construction leadership role, specifically in apartment renovations and new construction.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, construction materials, and budgeting related to multi-family residential buildings.
  • Proficient with project management software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions

This role involves on-site work at construction locations and potential exposure to outdoor elements. The role may involve physical labor and adherence to strict safety protocols. Personal protective equipment will be provided.
