Backstage Hospitality Coordinator / Part-Time Seasonal

The Backstage Hospitality Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the service experience for artists and touring staff at our venues.

The degree to which we acknowledge our team members for exceptional service directly influences their care for our Artists, touring personnel, and each other.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Live Nation is on the lookout for a Backstage Hospitality Coordinator for our venue. This position will report directly to venue management.

The Backstage Hospitality Coordinator will be tasked with implementing various Live Nation and venue-specific programs designed to support local production and touring staff.

This role will ensure that backstage expectations and division-wide objectives are met while upholding our commitment to artists and crew.

This position is centered around hospitality, ensuring an outstanding experience for touring personnel backstage. This is a seasonal, hourly role, with scheduled hours varying based on business needs, potentially reaching up to 40 hours per week or more during peak periods.
Responsibilities Include:
- Upholding backstage hospitality standards and division-wide objectives.
- Pre-Season: Compiling inventory lists of items such as towels, toiletries, and venue-branded merchandise that require ordering, and submitting to venue management.
- Laundering existing towels, organizing supplies, and overseeing supply locations. Preparing a seasonal schedule with suggestions for food trucks and activities for venue management approval.
- Creating a high-quality backstage environment that is inviting and accommodating for all.
- Ensuring cleanliness and readiness of all areas, fostering a warm atmosphere.


- Collaborating with Production and venue management to coordinate local backstage catering, ensuring that artist requirements are met and culinary experiences exceed expectations.

- Assisting venue management with logistical preparations.
- Where feasible, managing laundry tasks including washing, drying, and folding towels. Regularly checking dressing rooms to maintain tidiness.


- Demonstrating care by engaging in the venue's sustainability initiatives, which may involve resource conservation and waste prevention efforts, as well as educating artists about our practices.

- Researching best practices and collaborating with venue management to enhance engagement and satisfaction among artists and crew.
- Conducting pre and post-show walkthroughs with checklists to ensure all backstage areas are prepared.
- Creating memorable, hospitality-focused moments at every event, including special celebrations.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to maintain composure around high-profile artists and guests in a dynamic and often loud environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Passion for delivering genuine hospitality to all backstage.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe).
- Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to engage with others.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a history of creative solutions.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and accept constructive feedback.
- Preferred experience: 1+ years in backstage, production, or hospitality roles; 2-3 years in a similar position; 1-2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Natural inclination to assist others and a commitment to service.
- Role involves continuous physical activity, including walking, climbing stairs, and lifting equipment.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs. using proper techniques.
- Preferred educational background: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Public speaking or meeting facilitation skills are advantageous.
