POSITION SUMMARY

Welcome and seat patrons. Oversee the establishment for seating options, service quality, safety, and the overall satisfaction of guests. Provide food and beverages to guests while aiming to create a memorable dining experience. Stay informed about emerging beverage trends, local specialties, and the evolving preferences of guests. Address inquiries regarding menu items. Coordinate with the kitchen regarding orders and availability of products. Accurately record transactions in the Micros system at the time of order placement. Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the bar, bar area, tables, and other equipment. Prepare and serve beverages as requested by guests. Replenish ice, glassware, and supplies as necessary. Proactively communicate needs for restocking. Clean dishes and serving utensils as required. Complete opening and closing responsibilities. Order all necessary supplies, moving items from storage to the bar setup area as needed. Secure all alcoholic beverages, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage spaces. Document relevant information in the departmental logbook. Complete assigned cashier reports and address any discrepancies. Adhere to property control audit standards.

Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.

Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensuring that uniform and personal appearance are tidy and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and safeguard company assets.

Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, anticipate and respond to guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express gratitude to guests sincerely.

Communicate with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer phones with appropriate etiquette.

Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, and collaborate with the team to achieve common objectives. Adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards.

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance; and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout the entire work shift.

Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
