Responsibilities:


This role is essential in facilitating reimbursement processes by collecting and verifying patient demographic and insurance details. Key responsibilities include:

• Obtaining and documenting necessary patient signatures as mandated by organizational and federal regulations.

• Initiating and updating patient registration systems as required.

• Creating and maintaining medical records for patient care.

• Ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patients upon their arrival.

• Collecting co-payments and/or pre-payments while ensuring timely patient arrivals to clinical areas.


Qualifications:

Required:
• A high school diploma along with two years of experience in a healthcare environment, or equivalent education.

• Familiarity with medical terminology and third-party payer processes is essential.

• Proven excellence in customer service and patient care skills.

• Strong organizational, interpersonal communication, and computer skills are necessary.

• Ability to demonstrate problem-solving and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks effectively throughout the day.

• Experience with banking transaction systems is preferred.
