Job Summary

This is a professional position in the Home and Community-Based iBudget Medicaid waiver unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting medical necessity reviews, processing cost plan amendment requests, and working with Medicaid waiver support coordinators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process documentation for medical necessity reviews and Allocation Implementation Meeting (AIM) documentation.
  • Process iConnect requests and Budget Increase Requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work with Medicaid waiver enrolled service providers and assist in the identification and resolution of Regional specific problems concerning policy implementation and service delivery.
  • Provide technical assistance regarding programmatic and consumer issues and assist in interpreting rules, policies, and standards.
  • Initiate and maintain open communication with community, service providers, and stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as necessary to support the Regional office functions.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License or other efficient means of transportation.
  • High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and other required computer software applications.
  • At least two years of experience in working with people with disabilities, care coordination, or in the health and human services field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Medicaid waiver programs and policies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
