Key Responsibilities- Maintain precise documentation to ensure accountability and accurate billing.
- Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care needs, including education, in accordance with hospital and endoscopy protocols. Administer medications before, during, and after procedures.
- Exhibit a high level of technical and operational skill in executing Endoscopy Procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of reprocessing endoscopes and related equipment.
- Create a safe and efficient environment for patient care delivery.
- Take responsibility for all scheduled shifts and assigned tasks.
- Engage in professional development through ongoing education and training.
- Ensure adequate inventory of supplies and medications while managing costs effectively.
- Utilize hospital information systems proficiently, including Meditech.
- Minimum of 2 years of Endoscopy experience required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license.
- Registered Nurse Diploma required.
