Job Overview

This position is vital in overseeing and executing licensing functions at PHP. The role requires fluency in two languages, involving responsibilities such as coordinating licensing agreements in both languages, ensuring adherence to legal standards, and maintaining precise licensing documentation. Collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and legal professionals is crucial to streamline the licensing process. Proficiency in multiple languages is essential for effective communication and facilitation in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the Licensing & Compliance Department
  • Provide regular updates to leadership regarding metrics and closing status
  • Ensure team members fulfill assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Monitor workload across various systems
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance workflows
  • Identify and address inefficiencies and backlogs
  • Recommend and implement process improvements
  • Conduct quality assessments and manage escalated issues
  • Prepare reports to track productivity and initiate corrective actions as necessary
  • Lead assigned projects

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the life insurance industry is preferred
  • Familiarity with NIPR and State Department of Insurance Websites is advantageous
  • Strong problem-solving and follow-up capabilities
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales professionals of varying experience levels
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required
