PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

This role is dedicated to acquiring, nurturing, and enhancing existing and prospective member relationships by guiding and educating members in the management of their accounts and financial matters. The aim is to foster long-term connections and promote products and services that contribute to their financial well-being.

Delivering tailored, professional service to all members in an outstanding manner, while actively seeking opportunities for additional business.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday 8:45am-5:15pm, with alternating Saturdays 8:45am-1:15pm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include:
Assisting members with fundamental requests related to account openings, service requests, and credit applications.

Proactively informing members about the features and advantages of the Credit Union's offerings and actively cross-selling and making qualified referrals for additional relevant loan, deposit, and fee income products and services.

Building trust and enduring relationships with members through personal engagement, education, open-ended inquiries, attentive listening, and a consultative approach.

Responsible for providing notarial services to members, including document witnessing, authentication, and identity verification.
Receive guidance from management and exercise judgment within established policies and procedures.

Maintain a robust sales pipeline by gathering member contact details and scheduling follow-ups for those requiring further engagement.

Refer members to financial specialists as necessary (e.g., First Mortgage and Financial Advisors).
Accurately diagnose and research to resolve moderately complex member issues, including liaising with other departments for resolution.
Consistently surpass established sales targets.

Assist, serve, and follow up as needed with members dealing with fraud, forgery, deceased accounts, retirement services, account maintenance, business needs, and other unique account types to ensure their ongoing needs are met with exceptional service.

Engage with the community by participating in Wings-sponsored events and/or local initiatives.
Stay informed about all Wings promotions and take part in contests and activities to support organizational goals.

Adhere to risk and compliance protocols to safeguard member assets, maintain privacy, and act in their best interest.

Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Consistently present a professional image by being respectful, courteous, and considerate of members and colleagues through both verbal and non-verbal communication, adhering to dress standards, and maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.

Provide support to other teams within Retail Delivery as required, which may involve travel.
Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To excel in this position, an individual must successfully perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below represent the education, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities necessary.

High School diploma is required.
Some college experience is preferred.
Demonstrated sales abilities and at least 1 year of member service or retail banking experience is preferred.
Experience in cash handling is preferred.
Familiarity with banking and/or credit union regulations is preferred.
Experience in recommending products and strategies to enhance a member's financial situation is preferred.

Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment while maintaining a commitment to service quality.

Excellent member service skills with a member-centric mindset.

Desire, capability, and experience in assisting and supporting others in a professional environment with a polished business appearance.

Act as part of a cohesive team, demonstrating outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with colleagues.

Proficient in MS Office applications and general office equipment.
Comfortable and confident with self-service technology.
Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and integrity.
Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals of diverse personalities.
Maintain composure and problem-solve with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Demonstrated attention to detail, reliability, and personal accountability.
Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
Consistently punctual, working all scheduled hours and overtime as required by business demands.
Required to obtain or possess a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) unique qualifier (NMLS registration number).

Must have the ability to successfully complete all MLO Registry requirements, including passing background and credit checks, and submitting to fingerprinting and any other requirements of the rules enacted pursuant to the S.A.F.E.
