As a Credit Risk Evaluator, your role will involve conducting thorough credit evaluations, underwriting processes, and comprehensive reviews. Key Qualifications:
  • A committed personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related Business field is preferred
  • Experience or training in a customer service-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with reviewing and analyzing financial statements is advantageous
  • Previous experience in banking, credit unions, or financial services is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative) and financial knowledge to perform duties effectively
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, both written and verbal
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Conduct credit analysis, risk assessment, and underwriting reviews in collaboration with internal team members to support MRA's organizational vision and values. This includes:
    • Evaluating the financial condition of potential and current borrowers by reviewing loan applications and supporting documentation to develop an initial creditworthiness assessment.
    • Engaging with borrowers to obtain additional information and clarifications necessary for completing assessments.
    • Preparing and presenting detailed credit evaluations and recommendations, including financial statement analysis and market factors.
    • Collaborating with Business Development and Loan Committee members to communicate and present credit evaluations.
    • Drafting and processing preliminary and formal lending agreements, as well as managing amendments and modifications.
    • Monitoring post-closing credits within the loan portfolio, including reviewing changes in borrower circumstances and their impact on credit assessments.
  • Perform additional duties as needed, contributing to MRA's strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness and customer experience.
