Position Overview:
Lead the execution of SKF's Mobile and Industrial Automated Lubrication System (ALS) sales and marketing initiatives within the designated territory, encompassing the states of Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Minnesota.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive consistent sales growth through strategic implementation of Mobile and Industrial programs while collaborating with SKF resources.
- Contribute to the overall growth of SKF's business as part of the Regional Director's team, executing key strategies and initiatives with current and prospective distribution partners.
- Roll out sales and marketing initiatives effectively to maximize visibility and impact for direct sales through our Value-Added Reseller (VAR) or direct channels.
- Identify, qualify, and manage existing and future VAR and direct channels to enhance the SKF brand and optimize sales coverage.
- Collaborate with partners to identify and manage key sales projects and opportunities.
- Provide ongoing training and strategic support to develop and expand our VAR channel.
- Implement strategies to enhance VAR coverage in both mobile and industrial markets across your territory, motivating sales activities through regular joint sales calls with VARs and other key partners.

- Continuously assess VAR performance to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, SKF's growth initiatives, and territory sales targets.
- Maintain and relay direct knowledge of key market dynamics and competitive landscape to the company.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles. (Preferred)
- Understanding of mobile and industrial markets, along with effective sales strategies and techniques.
- Capable of making critical decisions in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent, with a strong emphasis on Sales/Marketing. (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Proven experience in building relationships with distributors and end-users.
- Ability to inspire and motivate those around you.
Experience:
- Over 5 years of experience in Mobile or Industrial sales.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects within a collaborative team environment.
- 3-5 years of successful management of distribution channels with a value-added product line.
- Proven track record of successful sales performance.
Travel Requirements:
- 50-70% (subject to home office location)
