As a Senior Architectural Project Leader, you will:
- Oversee all stages of project development, demonstrating technical proficiency across diverse project scales and complexities.
- Lead teams of varying sizes, ensuring effective delegation, coordination, and quality review of work produced by both internal and external contributors.
- Conduct final assessments and approvals for all code evaluations, material choices, and specifications.
- Manage the production of construction documents and the administration of the BIM model.
- Participate in client meetings and maintain regular communication with clients and consultants.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure adherence to project plans, recommending adjustments to workflows and staffing as necessary.
- Comprehend the project scope and ensure the team executes tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Champion design excellence, motivating team members and consultants to prioritize innovative design solutions.
- Implement strategies to enhance documentation quality, reducing risk, and share insights with junior staff while setting clear expectations for their responsibilities.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
- Registration or progress towards registration as an architect.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in an architectural firm, with at least 3 years focused on Healthcare projects.
- A proven track record in leading design, documentation, and construction administration processes.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
- The ability to exercise sound judgment and independence.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and SketchUp.
