Job Summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the North Druid Hills campus. This role will oversee the combined efforts of Facilities Engineering, Healthcare Technology Management, Parking, Security, Safety, Food Service, and Environmental Services to ensure proper operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Facilities Property Coordinators in day-to-day operations and provide excellent customer service.
  • Hire, train, and motivate team members, conduct routine performance evaluations, and maintain positive staff relations.
  • Assist in developing capital and OPEX budgets, including contributions towards a five-year plan of maintenance, facility improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Manage vendor contracts, track and manage service contracts, one-time contracts for miscellaneous repair work, and proposals.
  • Manage general office duties, including visitors, email, and telephone communication.
  • Coordinate event management for events held in building interior and exterior common areas of the North Druid Hills Campus with all Facilities departments.
  • Act as a liaison across all Children's departments regarding Facilities-related questions and concerns, ensuring communication is consistent with policies and life safety requirements.
  • Receive and track online work orders, assist in confirming invoices, and conduct property inspections.
  • Assist the Children's Safety department with fire drills, safety captains, and emergency contact lists for clinics and departments.
  • Order janitorial supplies for contracted janitorial services and assist with creating meeting agendas and coordinating staff meetings.
  • Manage special projects assigned by Director of Support Operations, Engineering Manager, or other Facilities Leadership.
Requirements
  • At least three years of experience in a Commercial Real Estate Property Management role or related experience.
  • Experience with online work order systems and Workday.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with vendor contract management and proposal development.
  • Knowledge of facility management software and systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, administration, or other operations/business-related field.
