Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the financial management and budgeting processes related to property operations.
  • Generate, manage, and disseminate regular operational reports, including weekly performance metrics and financial adjustments.
  • Support the preparation and oversight of property management documentation, such as operational contracts and annual inspections.
  • Develop detailed project plans and lead project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate due diligence activities for potential acquisitions, ensuring the proper transfer of service contracts and utilities.
  • Assist in preparing properties for sale, including reviewing contracts and vendor invoices.
  • Oversee the complete cycle of service contract execution, from obtaining necessary signatures to document management.
  • Work with Accounts Payable to facilitate the setup of new and existing service providers, ensuring compliance with vendor requirements.
  • Maintain and update the Contract Review Summary document for each property.
  • Prepare and send vendor cancellation notices as directed.
  • Monitor contract performance and proactively address any issues or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with legal, procurement, and corporate teams to ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.
  • Implement and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain schedules for monthly reporting and accounting deadlines.
  • Reconcile monthly expenses related to properties.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response strategies.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Property management certification (e.g., CAM, CPM).
  • Previous experience in property management.
