Job Overview

The Henrico Education Foundation seeks a highly skilled Regional Program Director to oversee the administration and operations of five afterschool programs.

This is a full-time position located in our main office, offering a competitive salary range of $49,000 - $55,000 per year.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic leader to manage multiple center directors, develop and maintain positive relationships with school staff, and ensure daily operations adhere to all state government, local, and Henrico Education Foundation regulations.

As a Regional Program Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the administration and operation of multiple programs, including implementing policy and procedures, planning, promoting, implementing, hiring and training staff, risk management, and ongoing program evaluation.
  • Ensuring that programs and center directors are following and enforcing policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
  • Collaborating with center directors to promote programs to meet enrollment/attendance expectations.
  • Managing multiple center directors, including hiring, performance management, coaching, task management, quality control, etc.
  • Partnering with organizations whose mission is aligned with the Henrico Education Foundation to meet the needs of community children and families.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree in a child-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Management experience, including hiring and on-the-job training and coaching.
  • Experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with various stakeholders.
