Medical Director for Urology Program

We are seeking a highly skilled Urologist to join our team at the Department of Veteran Affairs in Fredericksburg, VA. As a Medical Director for our Urology Program, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of urology care, including clinical and administrative duties.
The ideal candidate will have excellent diagnostic and treatment skills, as well as strong communication and teamwork abilities. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure prompt and efficient delivery of patient care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and treating patients with urological diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Managing all aspects of the urology surgery program, including consultations, work-ups, and pre- and postoperative care
- Performing outpatient and inpatient surgical procedures
- Working collaboratively with nursing staff, anesthesiologists, mid-level surgical providers, and medical support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a base salary of $300,000 - $400,000 per year, depending on experience. This position requires a Board Certified Urologist or eligible candidate who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
