Front Office Manager

At Hampton Inn - Auburn Hills North, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Front Desk Staff: Hire, train, and develop a team of front desk staff to provide exceptional guest service and maintain high standards of quality.
- Maintain Guest Service Standards: Ensure that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience, and that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Manage Reservations and Front Desk Operations: Oversee the reservation process, manage front desk operations, and ensure that all guests are checked in and out efficiently.
- Contribute to Hotel Profitability: Work closely with the hotel management team to achieve budgeted revenues and expenses, and to maximize profitability.
- Develop and Implement Operational Plans: Develop short-term and long-term operational plans to improve guest service, increase revenue, and reduce costs.
- Manage Credit Control and Financial Transactions: Ensure that all financial transactions are handled efficiently and securely, and that credit control procedures are in place to minimize losses.
- Handle Guest Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to guest complaints, and work to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the hotel management team.
Requirements:
To be successful as a Front Office Manager at Hampton Inn - Auburn Hills North, you will need:
- Minimum 1 year experience in front desk operations;
- 2 years experience in a supervisory or management role;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
