Position: Security Analyst II
Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)
Compensation: $110 to $120k/year
Experience Required:
- 4 to 6+ years of experience with diverse security solutions in a live environment
- 4 to 6+ years of experience in network management, ideally with Cisco technologies
- Familiarity with Carbon Black product administration
- Experience managing various operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux
Educational Qualifications:
- Security certifications such as Global Security Essentials Certification (GIAC-GSEC), Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are mandatory
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Employment Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
About Greene Resources: We are looking for a Security Analyst II to join our innovative and expanding team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Information Security Officer in maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of CFI systems
- Manage various security tools, keep security documentation updated for CFI systems, ensure systems are fortified and patched, and oversee system security measures
- Implement approved modifications to security systems
- Assist in the management of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, VPNs, authentication systems, and endpoint security
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and adhere to Configuration Control protocols
- Review logs for security incidents, including breaches, malware, and other harmful activities
- Investigate and resolve security incidents, preparing Incident Reports as necessary
- Configure and supervise security systems such as IDS, IPS, SIEM, and VPN
- Stay informed about new vulnerabilities/patches, notifying the Security Team as required, and assist with system security
- Contribute to the development and execution of application security testing strategies for new and updated software
Position Requirements:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; capable of conveying technical information in a clear and understandable manner
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret a wide range of technical instructions and manuals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to identify issues, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- High level of initiative, effort, and dedication
- Project management capabilities with the ability to meet deadlines and complete projects
- Commitment to high ethical standards, including honesty and integrity
