We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist II to join our team at First Citizens Bank. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will play a critical role in supporting our Cyber Threat management programs and ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.
Key Responsibilities- Security Review: Monitor and evaluate security incidents, system alerts, audit events, and other activity for potential threats against our networks and systems. Detect anomalies, malware infections, and intrusion attempts. Identify, recommend, and execute appropriate mitigation tactics for identified threats.
- Analysis: Analyze data from various operating systems, databases, and applications within the Bank. Sources and interprets data to proactively search for threats.
- Business Support: Support the defense of our organization's information security and technological architecture through a number of operational and technical tasks. Ensure all cyber security monitoring systems are online and fully operational as well as ensuring compliance with all security policies and standards. Maintain current knowledge about threat indicators, attack trends, and cyber-intel as well as news and reports from industry sources.
- Reporting: Produce reports that document investigation and security incidents as well as the results of analysis. Provides analytics and reporting that facilitates actionable cyber-intelligence within daily operations. Conveys information to the appropriate parties, which includes both internal and external partners.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cybersecurity Specialist II with a strong background in information security. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Information Security or a High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Information Security.
The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
