Position Overview: Front Office Agent
ROLE SUMMARY
The primary objective of the Front Office Agent position is to warmly greet our guests, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience while effectively addressing guest inquiries. You will uphold our organization's mission and values, delivering exemplary service and support.
- Warmly greet and engage guests with professional hospitality standards
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness in public areas and guest facilities
- Ensure guest privacy and confidentiality
- Manage check-in, check-out, and room assignments
- Coordinate room readiness with housekeeping staff
- Provide parking assistance and support guests with bell services
- Efficiently handle guest charges and payments
- Run daily operational reports and verify billing accuracy
- Operate the phone system and manage wake-up calls
- Assist guests with inquiries and requests
- Resolve guest issues and promote room upgrades and amenities
- Maintain a clean work environment and uphold confidentiality
- Stay informed about hotel services and local attractions
- Respond promptly to guest needs and concerns
- Collaborate with various departments to fulfill guest requests
- Accurately handle guest messages
- Adhere to company policies and safety protocols
- Assist guests with disabilities as needed
- Foster a positive team atmosphere
- Participate in training and team meetings
- Perform additional duties as required
- Strong proficiency in front desk operations and relevant software
- Ability to remain calm, make sound decisions, and solve problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Thorough understanding of office equipment and property management systems
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience in luxury markets is preferred
- Background in hotel management is advantageous
- Work in a shared environment with varying noise levels
- Manage changing priorities and deadlines with professionalism
- Flexible scheduling based on operational needs
- Regular tasks involve visual, auditory, and physical activities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent movement and extended periods of standing
