As a vital member of our community, the Front Desk Receptionist, also referred to as the Communications Specialist, plays a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike. This position is essential in maintaining smooth operations within our vibrant retirement community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and guide residents, guests, and staff while addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Handle emergency communications from residents and staff, ensuring the appropriate personnel are dispatched efficiently and calmly.
- Oversee emergency pull cord systems for Independent Living residents.
- Maintain awareness of resident statuses during emergencies, including hospital transports.
- Keep organized and updated resident lists, both alphabetically and by apartment.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of resident census, hospitalizations, and absences for security purposes.
- Manage the logging of resident packages and notify them of pick-up details, ensuring all mail is processed through the U.S. Mail system at the end of each day.
- Sort and distribute all inter-office correspondence.
- 401k plan available for employees aged 18 and over, with company contributions up to 3% upon eligibility.
- Onsite medical facilities providing wellness and sick care for employees over 18.
