Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement advanced control systems tailored for production processes, integrating cutting-edge IoT technologies.
  • Develop innovative IoT solutions to improve data collection, analysis, and automation of processes.
  • Work collaboratively with diverse teams to drive Industry 4.0 projects and smart manufacturing initiatives.
  • Program and set up PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems to ensure optimal performance of production machinery.
  • Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to address control system challenges.
  • Enhance control algorithms and workflows to boost efficiency, quality, and dependability.
  • Ensure all control system designs and implementations meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in IoT and Industry 4.0, proposing innovative enhancements to manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to operational and maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of control system designs, updates, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in controls engineering, ideally within a manufacturing context.
  • Expertise in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA systems.
  • Strong understanding of IoT technologies and their industrial applications.
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 principles and smart manufacturing strategies.
  • Solid grasp of network protocols and communication standards (e.g., MQTT, OPC-UA).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
