Educational Background & Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required.

A minimum of 1-5 years of experience in the industrial automation sector is preferred.

A solid mechanical aptitude gained from previous professional experiences is essential.

Key Qualifications:
A robust understanding of electrical design principles, machine and motion control systems, electro-mechanical systems, programming, and system integration is crucial.

Proficiency in analyzing and troubleshooting issues in automated machinery is necessary.

Experience in designing large-scale automated systems from conception to installation and client acceptance is expected.

Knowledge of electrical safety standards is mandatory.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with teams, clients, and suppliers are vital.

Capability to work independently and take initiative is important.

Preferred Experience (not mandatory):
Familiarity with Siemens Step 7 / TIA Portal PLC programming is advantageous.

Knowledge of IEC61131 (PLC programming languages) is a plus.

Understanding of ISO and IEC 62061 safety standards for machinery is beneficial.

Experience with EPLAN (or AutoCAD Electrical) for creating electrical schematics is desirable.

Job Responsibilities:
Utilize expertise in electronics, electrical circuits, mechanics, pneumatics, and programming.

Develop PLC programming in accordance with Broetje's standards for both new systems and retrofitting existing equipment.

Maintain comprehensive logs and documentation of tasks performed.

Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Design panel layouts for new automated systems.

Engage in occasional travel to client sites for machine commissioning.

Provide training to client personnel and new technicians on machine operation as required.
