Job Title: Crime Analysis Center Director

Reporting directly to the Program Manager for the Office of Crime Analysis and Strategic Partnerships, the incumbent will be responsible for managing the physical space of the Regional Crime Analysis Center and overseeing the crime analysis program. The Director will provide direction to the multi-agency staff assigned to the Center and maximize all information and intelligence sharing opportunities by enlisting the participation of various law enforcement and criminal justice agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Regional Crime Analysis Center and oversee the crime analysis program
  • Provide direction to the multi-agency staff assigned to the Center
  • Maximize all information and intelligence sharing opportunities
  • Enlist the participation of various law enforcement and criminal justice agencies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and fifteen years of experience in a state or local police organization in the geographic area where the crime analysis center is located
  • At least four years of this experience must have been at the senior management level and two years of experience in the field of crime analysis are required
  • Master's degree in a related field is preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Excellent working relationships with senior officials from the law enforcement agencies in the region where the crime analysis center is located
  • Strong working knowledge of evidence-based and data-driven policing strategies
