Position Summary:
The primary role involves upholding exceptional standards of Food Safety and Product Quality through the thorough cleaning and sanitation of food processing equipment, utensils, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute cleaning and sanitation tasks as outlined in the company’s Master Sanitation Program.
  • Employ appropriate chemicals and cleaning agents to sanitize processing area walls, floors, and equipment.
  • Utilize sanitation tools and refuse management equipment safely and effectively.
  • Remove debris from processing areas to maintain cleanliness.
  • Communicate chemical supply levels to management for timely replenishment.
  • Monitor and document facility conditions to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Verify the effectiveness of cleaning and sanitation efforts, completing necessary documentation.
  • Conduct testing as required to ensure sanitation standards are met.
  • Adhere to plant safety protocols and maintain equipment properly.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while providing support for additional duties as needed.
  • Achieve certification as an electric pallet jack and forklift operator.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Experience with sanitation tools, chemicals, food safety practices, and safe operation of forklifts and powered pallet jacks.

Compensation:
Salary Range: $19.14 per hour
