How You'll Shine
As a Guest Services Associate, you will play a vital role in making guests' vacations memorable from registration to checkout. Your friendly welcome, excellent service, and contagious smile will set the tone for an unforgettable experience. You will extend hospitality with heart in everything you do, from sharing information about the resort and nearby attractions to providing room rate quotes and confirming reservations.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming guests from around the world and providing a warm and personalized experience
- Guiding guests through the registration process, issuing unit keys, and providing information about the resort and area attractions
- Processing cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures
- Completing all check-out procedures and verifying that the correct charges and credits are reflected in guest folios
- Reserving and confirming reservations for individuals and/or groups
- Providing guests with room rate quotes and responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Promoting teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments

What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude. You will also need excellent communication skills, the ability to solve problems with minimal supervision, basic math skills, and knowledge of proper cash handling procedures. Additionally, you will need to be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and strong organizing skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as one year of guest services experience in a hospitality environment or one year of customer service experience in a service or retail environment.
