Sign Production Specialist

FASTSIGNS is seeking a part-time Sign Production Specialist to join our team. As a Sign Production Specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual displays for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic images to predetermined substrates or mediums.
  • Prepare substrates for vinyl application, including cutting, painting, laminating, and cleaning.
  • Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images, utilizing various techniques depending on size, type of vinyl, and complexity of images.
  • Operate and maintain large format printers.
  • Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting work orders and proofing for errors or unacceptable standards.
  • Perform finishing operations, such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces.
  • Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.
  • Assist in field installs.
  • Clean and maintain storage areas.
Ideal Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more).
  • Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
  • Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate.
  • Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.
  • Ability to use light power equipment.
