Position Overview:
The Budget and Portfolio Manager is essential in facilitating the operations of the Windows Engineering sector within a prominent financial services firm.

Key Responsibilities:
In this capacity, you will be crucial in overseeing financial allocations, managing vendor partnerships, and directing portfolio strategies for the Windows Engineering team.

The ideal candidate should be eager to acquire new skills and take on tasks that will help reduce the workload of senior leadership.

Daily Duties Include:

  • Manage the entire budget cycle from initial planning through to execution.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and the presentation of financial information.
  • Develop high-level summary presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Employ technical expertise in spreadsheets, vendor management platforms, and enterprise-level financial systems.
  • Oversee portfolio management and product-related activities.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Anaplan or similar SAS-based tools is highly beneficial.
Proficiency in creating high-level summary presentations using PowerPoint is essential.
Years of experience in roles such as Portfolio Manager, Vendor Manager, Program Manager, or Chief of Staff are advantageous.

  • Technical skills in spreadsheets, vendor management tools, and enterprise-level financing.
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and navigating administrative processes.
  • Assistance with forecasting, budgeting, and financial data presentation.
  • Utilization of Anaplan or similar SAS-based tools.
  • Creation of high-level summary slides for presentations.
