Position Overview

This role involves managing a select portfolio of commercial office properties. The Asset Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing multiple assets, ensuring optimal performance and value enhancement. The position requires field visits to various properties and is based out of the company's office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage a portfolio of commercial office properties to enhance asset value and investment returns.
  • Design and implement asset management strategies focused on improving net operating income (NOI) through operational efficiencies and revenue enhancement.
  • Oversee the budgeting process for income and expenses, ensuring precise forecasting and tracking of capital and one-time expenditures.
  • Develop annual leasing strategies, maintaining comprehensive reports on leasing activities and market dynamics to guide decision-making.
  • Identify underperforming assets and collaborate with management teams to devise and execute turnaround strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as rent collection rates and occupancy levels, with a focus on optimizing NOI.
  • Review and approve lease agreements, renewals, and modifications to ensure they positively impact the portfolio's financial health.
  • Assess operational efficiency and tenant satisfaction, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Act as a liaison between property management, accounting, and senior management to ensure strategic alignment and accurate reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in real estate asset management, demonstrating a successful track record in enhancing asset value and NOI.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities independently.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to motivate and collaborate with teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with effective negotiation abilities and strong professional relationship-building skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, along with a comprehensive understanding of real estate markets.
