Job Summary

Signature Aviation is a leading global aviation services provider seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of General Manager II. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our FBO (Fixed Base Operator) and ensuring that we maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis and Development
    • Conduct ongoing analysis of the market to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the FBO, including managing staff and resources.
    • Ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Customer Service and Loyalty
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Regularly interact with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Financial Management
    • Develop and manage the FBO budget, including forecasting and expense management.
    • Ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and compliant with company policies.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Lead and manage a team of staff, including mentoring and developing their skills.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve staff performance and productivity.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure that all operations are conducted in compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Five (5) years or more management experience with three or more years experience in aviation.
  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Aviation Management or related field preferred.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and web-based applications.
Working Conditions

The following functions may be performed in variable weather and environmental conditions such as jet engine fumes, dust or jet engine noise.

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear.
  • Occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Read, write and fluently speak and understand the English language.
  • Read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
  • Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
  • Write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors.
  • Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
  • Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
