Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Development and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of 6-9 direct reports, focusing on their career development, performance management, and well-being.
  • Technical Expertise: Oversee and facilitate the delivery of high-quality technical products and services, ensuring that they meet the needs of our customers.
  • Business Development: Develop and execute departmental technical and business goals, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to capture them.
  • Resource Planning: Support department leaders in resource planning, ensuring that the team has the necessary resources to deliver high-quality products and services.
Requirements
  • Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 7 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 4 years' experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
  • Leadership Skills: Desire for personnel leadership/management roles, strong desire to work with people, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Clearance: Secret clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior Supervisory Experience: Prior supervisory experience, with a track record of leading people and delivering high-quality results.
  • Broad Knowledge: Broad knowledge of Federal Government Acquisition and Program Management.
