About the Role

The Financial Planning and Analysis team at AspenTech is responsible for driving business growth and success through strategic financial planning and analysis. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in forecasting and long-term financial modeling, periodic operational and financial reporting, and business partnering with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial models and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategic plans to drive growth.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business development and expansion initiatives.
  • Design and implement reporting and analytics solutions to improve business visibility and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, business partners, and external constituents.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on business modeling and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with reporting and analytics software.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis software, such as Anaplan or Adaptive Insights.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial markets and trends.
