- Medical Record Requests: Process requests from third-party vendors via fax or mail, documenting patient accounts accordingly.
- Scanning and Data Entry: Scan insurance medical record requests, authorization approvals, and insurance denial notifications for outsourced vendor processing.
- Reporting and Coordination: Itemize batch totals daily and report cash deposit totals to department heads, coordinating incoming and outgoing mail to insurance carriers, patients, and providers.
- Professional Development: Attend training classes as required and complete assigned training courses to maintain working knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, Risk Management, and Compliance regulations.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact with internal and external customers in a friendly and respectful manner.
- Time Management and Organization: Strong skills in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and ability to learn new software applications.
