Sales Operations Coordinator

About the Role

The Sales Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting sales, merchandising, and supply chain initiatives at Samsonite. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product fulfillment and customer performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and specific retailer systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Foster routine interaction and provide customer service support to top retailers (Macy's, Kohl's, Costco, Walmart, Sam's Club, and JCP) and personnel
• Collaborate with customers to analyze data and better drive retail and wholesale sales
• Maintain weekly customized reporting to analyze performance and communicate findings to internal and external customers
• Maintain a clear understanding of the competitive landscape through market evaluations, research, store checks, photos, and pricing
• Manage major account portal administration and support, including but not limited to new item set-up
• Manage product sample process (ex: sample shipments to and from events and photoshoots)
• Collaborate cross-functionally on a variety of tasks to support the overall Sales and Marketing team and build strong working relationships with key internal departments
• Assist in generating product placement and diversification through category management and sell-through analysis
• Prepare business analysis for sales presentations and attend sales meetings
• Create and develop presentations for account meetings
• Ensure sample distribution and appropriate merchandising with sample tags, quote sheets, and system updates
• Communicate a point of view on customer product needs
• Help resolve customer issues, inquiries, and/or complaints

Forecast and Supply Chain

• Report and analyze retail sell-through and the supply chain to properly forecast at the sku level
• Monitor and maintain order flow
• Maintain price lists to ensure proper order flow pricing execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 1+ years of experience with national chains / Consumer Product Goods
• Detail oriented & analytical mindset
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and specific retailer systems
