Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Development Specialist to join our team at Equus Workforce Solutions. As a key member of our workforce development team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality support services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract and Application Interpretation: Interpret contract and application language to verify support services and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Support Services Coordination: Provide assistance to providers and internal staff to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and financial requirements.
  • Documentation Review: Review support documentation to ensure its completeness and accuracy prior to payment.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Maintain a tracking system to monitor supportive services distributed and create monthly reports.
  • Policy and Procedure Management: Maintain current knowledge of policy changes and modifications affecting support services and ensure sound judgment in ensuring compliance and administering policies and procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the leadership team to ensure on-track spending of supportive service funds and serve on work groups and manage special projects and assignments.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: One to three years in workforce development.
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills, excellent internal and external customer service skills, ability to work with people from various backgrounds and with various needs, ability to work independently, excellent organizational and time-management skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
