Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Nationwide Technical Resources Corp. The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring active, passive, and electro-mechanical parts, resolving complex issues, and negotiating purchase agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure high-quality parts and materials in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
  • Resolve complex issues and advise supervisors on sensitive matters.
  • Negotiate and monitor purchase agreements to ensure quality, price, and delivery requirements are met.
  • Conduct supplier surveys and analyze results to identify new potential suppliers.
  • Use knowledge to negotiate the best price for required specifications.
  • Prepare requests for quotations and/or purchase requisitions.
  • Recommend changes to maintain tracking and reporting systems for purchases.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with supplier personnel.
  • Interact with all departments requiring purchasing support.
  • Complete weekly department metrics related to purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials by expediting suppliers.
  • Adhere to established purchasing policies and company policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior related experience or a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience in active procurement/buying in an electronics-manufacturing environment.
  • Strong supplier relation and sourcing skills.
  • Proficient understanding and utilization of MS Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, generally accepted purchasing, and contract management practices.
