The Project Manager is a key member of the InProduction team, responsible for overseeing the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to create detailed project cost estimates.
- Review and coordinate technical drawings with the CAD Department to ensure accurate shop builds.
- Coordinate and review detailed assembly/installation drawings for production use.
- Research and procure materials and hardware required for project execution.
- Communicate effectively with the construction team, shop production schedules, and department heads to meet budgetary and scheduling goals.
- Manage project scope changes and their budgetary impacts.
- Track and report project costs compared to budget.
- Ensure safety oversight and quality control throughout the project.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical theater and/or scenic fabrication.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator, and MS Office.
- High-level problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize short- and long-term objectives.
- Excellent relationship skills and a team-oriented, collaborative work ethic.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
