Doege Development LLC is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience to oversee all aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, managing materials and equipment, ensuring adherence to specifications, and maintaining project schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Construction Project Manager, you will:

  • Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
  • Conduct quality control assessments on the work performed.
  • Facilitate communication with the project team regarding change orders, requests for information, and material submissions.
  • Ensure subcontractors are executing their contracted scope of work effectively.
  • Coordinate necessary inspections with local authorities.
  • Identify and address any non-compliance issues related to safety and quality standards.
  • Resolve conflicts in construction progress and communicate solutions to the project team.
  • Maintain a daily log of job site activities.
  • Ensure all deficiencies identified by the project team are rectified by subcontractors.
  • Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress and assist in future planning.
  • Lead weekly meetings with subcontractors to coordinate ongoing work.
  • Issue notices of non-compliance when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times.
  • Identify and complete job progress and final punch lists.
  • Conduct safety meetings and uphold safety standards on the job site.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Identify work areas that fall outside of subcontracted scopes.
  • Lead pre-construction meetings with subcontractors.
  • Open and secure the job site at the beginning and end of each day.

Job Scope:

The Construction Project Manager will be accountable for the timely completion of projects, ensuring that all work is performed in strict accordance with plans, specifications, and local codes. This role involves scheduling all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors while ensuring compliance with timelines. The Project Manager will also coordinate fieldwork and communicate any conflicts or revisions to the project team for resolution before execution.

  • Ability to lead and resolve issues among multiple subcontractors and vendors.
  • Proficient in identifying and addressing deficient work.
  • Strong communication skills using various tools such as email, phone, and written logs.
  • Blueprint reading and interpretation.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate the job site effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a focus on conflict resolution.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaboration.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Physical Demands:

This position requires work at construction sites, both indoors and outdoors, with potential overtime to meet project deadlines. The role involves standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
