Job Summary:

The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution and timely completion of assigned electrical projects. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to manage project scope, timelines, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of electricians, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete project scope.
  • Scope Management: Analyze and outline project scope, including all general conditions and requirements, to ensure accurate estimates and pricing.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with project scope to ensure related costs are covered.
  • Pre-Construction: Manage all pre-construction requirements, including labor hours, material procurement, and equipment needs, to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Estimating and Pricing: Complete construction estimates and price change orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Communication: Clearly define and manage labor hours, material procurement, equipment needs, and customer reporting requirements.
  • Field Management: Conduct field visits to projects as needed, including pre-bid surveys, kick-off meetings, progress walks, punch walks, and turnover.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager overseeing electrical scopes of $2M and below.
  • Proficient in Accubid, Procore, or similar type software.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and through writing in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manner.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks according to deadlines and urgency, and complete them in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ability to comprehend, summarize, edit, and analyze data.
  • Ability to create, navigate, search, and update company systems (emails, work orders, reports, bids, invoices, etc.).
  • Proficient with creating, editing, and analyzing Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and Power Point presentations.
