Family Support Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Family Support Specialist to provide training and support to families in the Anchorage region. As a Family Support Specialist, you will work closely with resource families to help them meet their yearly training requirements and provide one-on-one support, training, and information to families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support, training, and information to resource families in the Anchorage region.
- Help families complete their annual training requirements.
- Participate in and collaborate on team-wide projects and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Skilled in family support, counseling, and/or supportive listening.
- Self-motivated and creative in solving problems.
- Experience with providing training in both online and one-on-one settings.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or professional or personal experience with adoption, foster, or relative care.
- Experience working collaboratively and effectively with others remotely.
