Job Summary

The Family Support Staff provides critical support to families in need, working closely with participants to develop and implement personalized support plans. This role requires a strong understanding of trauma-informed care and the ability to provide crisis intervention services as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis intervention services to families in need, working to de-escalate conflicts and promote a safe and supportive environment.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans, working closely with participants to identify and address their unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support services.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of participant interactions and support services provided.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in human services, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
