Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist with Bookkeeping Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist with additional bookkeeping responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in receptionist duties, including greeting visitors, answering calls, and managing mail and packages. Additionally, they will have a basic understanding of bookkeeping principles, including recording financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Receptionist:
    • Greet visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner.
    • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
    • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
    • Schedule appointments and meetings as needed.
    • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
    • Provide general administrative support to team members as required.
  • Bookkeeping:
    • Assist with recording day-to-day financial transactions.
    • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
    • Help reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
    • Assist with preparing financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
    • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation.
    • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Front Desk Receptionist:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Bookkeeping:
    • Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
    • Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role is a plus.
    • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is desirable but not required.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
