Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for improving the reliability of electrical and instrumentation equipment and systems. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and productivity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reliability Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to improve the reliability of electrical and instrumentation equipment and systems.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the prompt completion of Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and corrective actions.
  • Downtime Reduction: Track equipment-related downtime, repetitive failure, and cause data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Reliability Planning: Maintain a reliability improvement plan for departmental electrical assets.
  • Spare Parts Management: Ensure spare parts, equipment, and bill of materials are updated in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP).
  • Outage Planning: Ensure reliability improvements are incorporated into routine and major outage work scopes.
  • Technical Support: Provide functional direction and electrical technical support to Reliability, Operations, and Maintenance teams.
  • Predictive Maintenance: Improve the utilization of predictive technologies to reduce unscheduled downtime.
  • Standards and Procedures: Develop and implement reliability and precision maintenance standards and procedures.
  • Capital and Repair Projects: Support capital and repair projects, and champion safety and reliability with project engineering.

Qualifications

  • Technical Skills: Skilled in the utilization of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably SAP.
  • Multi-tasking: Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines on a continuous basis.
  • Software Skills: Skilled in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
  • Communication: Strong team player and communicator with the ability to create and sustain change.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive problem solver with strong interpersonal skills.
