Your Role and Responsibilities
The Field Service Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations within their designated region, which involves supervising all field service personnel and managing general workflow to meet productivity and service quality standards. The primary responsibility of the Field Service Manager is to lead and coordinate the activities of personnel involved in providing testing, certification, and related services. This includes managing the training, development, workflow efficiency, and performance evaluation of all field service staff.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading and developing a team of field service technicians servicing a specific geographical area with a variety of service offerings.
- Collaborating with upper management to ensure that efficiency and productivity targets are achieved, aligning with financial and regional growth objectives.
- Coordinating with senior staff and the training department to guarantee adequate training and development for field personnel.
- Working with operations to optimize technician scheduling and address any logistical challenges.
- Maintaining awareness and involvement in resolving customer issues and equipment-related problems.
- Occasionally performing testing, certification, environmental monitoring, calibration, and other services on client premises across various laboratory, hospital, and pharmacy environments.
- Acting as a liaison with other department managers and corporate shared services to provide necessary support.
- Executing additional duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
TSS offers competitive salaries along with a comprehensive benefits package:
- Annual salary range of $90,366 - $150,610
(Salary determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with industry standards.) - Medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant business leadership experience, including profit/loss management and key performance indicators.
- Some experience in people management is required.
- A combination of education, training, and related experience may fulfill requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Proven leadership, business, and management capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration, commitment, and productivity within cross-functional teams and with customers.
- Ability to lead a team towards achieving business objectives collectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to provide open and constructive feedback.
