Automotive Service Operations Manager

Service Manager Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Service Manager to oversee and manage our service department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive high-quality service and ongoing support. This role involves managing a team of service technicians, coordinating service schedules, and implementing efficient service processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department.
- Coordinate service schedules and assign tasks to service technicians.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer service requests and complaints.
- Monitor and track service performance metrics and KPIs to ensure service quality and efficiency.
- Develop and implement service processes and procedures to improve service delivery.
- Train and mentor service technicians to improve technical skills and customer service.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Manage service budgets and expenses to ensure profitability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in service management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in service management or related field.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using service management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of service industry regulations and standards.
- Customer-focused with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
