Position Title:
Part-Time Event Operations Associate

Job Overview:
InsideHigherEd is seeking dedicated part-time Event Operations Associates to join our team for the upcoming event season. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations during various events.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare Front of House areas prior to events.
- Assist with post-event breakdown and cleanup as necessary.
- Serve as a parking attendant and manage ticket scanning.
- Provide security for merchandise and assist with item inspections.
- Enforce venue policies and respond to emergencies following established protocols.
- Collaborate with the Manager on Duty or Head Usher when required.


Expectations:

InsideHigherEd expects all employees to:
- Adhere to venue policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Demonstrate a positive and respectful attitude.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding departmental matters.
- Manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.

Work Schedule:
The work schedule is flexible and will vary based on event timings, typically requiring evening and weekend availability, averaging around 15 to 30 hours per week.

Compensation:
Hourly wage ranges from $13.00 to $15.00, based on experience.

Qualifications:
- Strong customer service or hospitality experience (one year preferred).
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-profile environments.
- Comfortable with non-traditional work hours and able to stand for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds safely.
